We aim to be transparent about the cost of assessments at Monarch Autism Assessment.
Full multidisciplinary autism assessment
$4,500flat fee
- Assessment sessions with all three members of our team - paediatrician, psychologist, and speech pathologist
- Your same-day feedback session
- Your comprehensive written report
Medicare
Paediatric consultations with our paediatricians may attract a Medicare rebate. Psychological assessments may be eligible for a Medicare rebate under a Mental Health Treatment Plan or other relevant referral pathway. A referral from your General Practitioner is required for a Medicare rebate.
NDIS
If your child is an NDIS participant, assessment and diagnostic services may be funded under their plan, depending on individual goals and plan structure. Our team - including our paediatricians, psychologists, and speech pathologists - can provide invoices and reports formatted to support funding applications and plan reviews.
Cancellation Policy
We understand that plans can change
Our assessments involve significant clinician preparation and dedicated appointment time. The following fees apply based on the notice provided before your scheduled appointment - the full policy, including illness and exceptional-circumstance waivers and NDIS arrangements, is available below.

| More than 7 calendar days | No fee. Free reschedule subject to availability. |
| 3 to 7 calendar days | 25% of the Assessment Fee. May be credited towards a rescheduled appointment within 60 days. |
| 1 to 3 Business Days (more than 24 hours) | 50% of the Assessment Fee. |
| Less than 24 hours, or No-Show | 100% of the Assessment Fee. |
